Fresh Homemade Salsa!

By February 4, 2018 No Comments

Fresh tomatoes, peppers, cilantro…if you’ve ever taken the few minutes to chop up and mix a fresh salsa, you’ll never look at the pre-packaged version in the same way!  Here’s a simple breakdown of an all time classic…

Rinse, Chop, and Add to Large Bowl:

-2-3 cups of grape tomatoes

-1 green bell pepper

-1/4 of a medium sweet onion

-1 cup of fresh parsley

I like to use a 3:2:1 ratio for the Tomatoes:Pepper:Onion.  Feel free to personalize.

For Dressing, Add to a Small Bowl and Mix:

-Press 1-2 cloves of garlic (depending on your preference)

-1 fresh squeezed lemon

-3 TBSP of olive oil

-1 TBSP of sea salt

Combine the Dressing with the Vegetables, and Mix together.  Chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!
