Smoothies are an easy way to grab a few extra servings of fruits and vegetables. Great as a snack, light meal, or addition to a meal. Here’s a recipe that tastes fresh and is simple to prepare. Enjoy!
You’ll need a blender that can handle full fruits and vegetables. The Vitamix, Blendtec, and Ninja are all great options. Blending a smoothie in this fashion, as opposed to juicing, allows you to keep the fiber from your choices.
Rinse and Chop into a few peices:
-1 Green Apple
-3-4 stalks of Celery
-1-2 baby Cucumbers (or half of a large one)
-1 cup of fresh Parsley
-1 cup of frozen (or fresh) Mango
-1 fresh Lemon squeezed
Add to the blender and fill with water to the fill line. Blend the juice and enjoy!
