Ultimate Chili Recipe

It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned chef or an absolute amateur in the kitchen. Mastering a go-to chili recipe is a must! Here’s an Ultimate Chili recipe with all the goods…enjoy!

Dutch Oven Chili (can also be used for Crock Pot)

Chop and Set Aside (as fine as you want, depending on how chunky you like your chili)

-One medium sweet onion
-One green bell pepper
-One jalepeno pepper
-2-3 cloves of garlic

In succession, sear and remove from bottom of Dutch. Lay down a little avocado oil in the base of the pan. Sear enough to brown the outside BUT NOT cook all the way through…

-One pound of grass fed beef steak chunks (you can buy these pre-cut)
-One pound of grass fed ground beef
-One pound of spicy sausage

Set the meat aside in a big bowl. Add the chopped veggies for a quick sear to soften them up.

Add in the following:

-The seared meats
-One can of rinsed kidney beans
-One box of crushed tomatoes
-2-3 TBSP of chili powder
-1 TBSP of sea salt
-2-3 TBSP of hot sauce (or Cayenne Powder…..or both if you want hot!)
-Pinch of brown sugar

Cover it up and let it cook! Lower the temperature to a low setting and let it cook for 2-3 hours. If you use a Crock Pot, just sear the meat and veggies in a separate pan first. Also prepare for an extra hour or two, the Dutch Oven cooks a little quicker. Enjoy!
